The NK Range of
Motion Device
Patent No. 5,469,862
The NK Range of Motion Device enables the accurate measurement of
all upper-extremity joint angles in both active and passive modes.
Addition of the torque-defined option enables the measurement of the
torque applied during passive joint motion measurements in flexion,
extension, abduction, and adduction.
FEATURES:
- Can be used with or without torque measurement.
- Two each of 2", 3", 4", 6" and 12"
extension arms are provided.
- Test thumb, finger, wrist, elbow, and shoulder range of
motion
- Software supports three measurement protocols:
- Evaluator controls acquisition of data
- Patient controls acquisition of data
- Data are automatically acquired when torque reaches preset
level
