The NKB ArcStrut is a servo-controlled model support system which
is capable of on-the-fly variations in angle of attack and yaw angle of
up to ±30°. The model is at the center of rotation, thus it
is maintained at the center of the tunnel. ArcStruts are available for
wind tunnels sizes of 12x12 in. and up.
Systems include the strut, sting, servomotors and controls, and
servo control software (compatible with industry standard PC's). The
ArcStrut is compatible with the MINI , SUPERMINI,and
ULTRAMINI sensors.

The NKB HalfStrut
The NKB HalfStrut is a manually controlled model support system
which is capable of variations in angle of attack of up to ±30°
while maintaining model position at the center of the tunnel. It is
available in sizes for wind tunnels of 12x12 in. and up.
The NKB HalfStrut is also available with a Yaw angle adapter. This
adapter provides capability to vary the Yaw angle ±30° while
simultaneously varying angle of attack. The model is maintained at the
center of the tunnel through all angles.

FIXED STRUT
NKB Fixed strut with sensor, sting, and sting windshield

NKB Fixed Struts are custom designed to be compatible with your
sensor, tunnel, and test requirements They are available for any size
tunnel.

The NKB Sidewall model support expands the application of the
MINI, SUPERMINI,and
ULTRAMINI sensors. In this application, forces and moments measured in the
sting-mounted are rotated 90° about the vertical axis, as listed
below.
